Yomal Perera
Undergraduate Student
Hello! My name is Yomal Perera and I am currently a first year majoring in computer engineering. I found myself in the Beier lab due to my fascination with the intersection of computational analysis with the many types of behavioral and functional observations made in the study of the brain, in hopes of eventually finding patterns that perhaps humans wouldn’t even be able to identify. I am captivated by neuroscience and its growing surrounding research – especially its consequences on the betterment of medicine. In my spare time,
I like creating and finding more music, writing, and riding my bike.
